Kids Hope USA
KIDS HOPE USA is a mentoring program that works through local churches, equipping them to engage their own members in one-to-one relationships with at-risk public elementary (K- 5) school children.
Who: We need mentors and substitute mentors. Mentors are required to complete a three-hour training session, an application, and a personal interview. Mentors also must pass a criminal background check.
We also need Prayer partners who will pray each week for the mentor and student. Prayer partners are required to complete an application.
When: One hour per week during the school day by arrangement with the school and student. Substitute mentors are "on call" for the primary mentor.
Where: Meadow Point Elementary School
